Dress just arrived and I tried it on so note that this review won’t mention anything about wear over time, etc.

Overall, the dress is really flattering and comfy. It does what I wanted and is true to size. I’m 5’10” and it reaches my ankle bone when standing which is nice.

I think the biggest thing to keep in mind is that it’s medium control shapewear not super firm control. So you’re still going to be your shape, just held in a little. I still definitely have a mom pooch in this dress but it’s more smoothed out than if there was no shapewear. I also think it’s probably best to wear this with underwear that doesn’t give you any lines or cut into your sides at all so you don’t get a weird ripple shape because it’s so form fitting.

I think this dress would be best for going out to dinner, family photos, and maybe even an evening wedding if you dress it up with heels and jewelry.

I’m obsessed with this dress from head to toe but i have 2 complaints relating to my personal chub with the dress. The first time i wore the dress to my 6 hour hostessing shift at a fancy restaurant, I didn’t think to strategically place the thigh compression elastics, and the way i friction BURNED my chub rub so hard.. i had a burn spot on my chub rub for a week. Second, with my chub rub, the SWOOSHING sound from the thigh compression… if you’re a highly sensitive person, only wear this dress in a loud environment to drown out the swooshing coming from your thighs. So all in all this dress photographs extremely well and makes me feel the most confident I have ever been in 26 years, but be weary when wearing this dress in a fast paced environment

After reading many reviews on Amazon and You Tube, I purchased this dress and I’m glad I did. The shaping element gave me a gorgeous shape, the material of the dress itself is nice and thick so nothing shows through. I’m 5’8 with long legs and arms and the sleeve length is perfect as well as the dress length just skims the floor without any footwear on which is exactly what I wanted. The hem of the dress has a very slight fish tail effect which adds to the “va va voom!” of the dress. I ordered size XL (18-20).
